Loan against property: using a property you already own
A loan against property, often called LAP, is a secured loan. You already own the house, flat or plot. The lender takes that property as security and may lend against a portion of its value. Sahukar.app does not value property and does not hold title deeds.
How this differs from a home loan
A home loan is usually taken so you can buy or build the home. A loan against property starts from a property you already own and is often used for a larger personal need, a business, or to restructure other borrowing.
Because the loan is secured, some lenders consider larger amounts than they would on an unsecured personal loan. That is not a promise of a higher limit for you.
The risk you should understand
If EMIs are not paid, the lender can take steps against the mortgaged property, following the law and the loan contract. That is why this product is not a casual substitute for a small personal loan.
An advisor can explain that difference in plain language. They cannot tell you to pledge a property, and they cannot protect a property from a lender's process.
What this page does not offer
- We do not offer a percentage of market value as a guaranteed loan.
- We do not complete legal or technical valuation.
- We do not refinance or close another lender's loan ourselves.
How a Sahukar.app callback helps
The first call is to understand why you are considering a property-backed loan and whether an unsecured option is what you actually need to discuss.
Do not send original property papers through this website. The enquiry form does not accept uploads.
Loan against property questions
Can I use a property that already has a home loan?
Some lenders consider a top-up or a new loan after looking at the existing mortgage. Whether that is possible is the lender's decision after they see the papers.
Is commercial property treated the same as a house?
Not always. Lenders often have different rules for residential and commercial property. We do not list those rules here because they are not ours.
Will talking to Sahukar.app put a charge on my property?
No. A callback enquiry does not create a mortgage. A charge, if any, arises only if you later sign with a lender.

Ask about a loan against property
Share a few details. An advisor will call you back. Requesting a call does not pledge your property.
Sahukar.app is not a lender. Loan approval, amount, interest rate and terms are decided by the lender based on their own eligibility criteria.
